Borrowing from the past to create the future, the Fall/Winter 2008 collection is inspired by a tryst with a long lost romance in the maze of Mahal and pavilions of Jaipur, known as the pink city, where thoughtful architecture blends both Indian and European values.

This collection is addressed to a woman whose footprints are the Globe and heart is Indian. This collection, with tailoring as a key, is built around structured jackets, trousers, overcoats, skirts and dresses that take from day to evening to red carpet.

The prints designed in house are inspired by abstracted roses which are both melancholic and exuberant in heavy and lightweight satins and georgette. Other fabrics used in a palette of peach, fuchsia, silver, red, wine and burgundy are taffeta, Indian silk tweed, wool, silk lurex, georgette, satins and suede.

The surface embellishments developed specifically for this collection ranged from hand made textures to finally crafted embroideries.
