How would you describe your brand in 5 words or less?
Coyote in a few words: exciting, flamboyant, swank, wearable art, chutzpah, cooler-than-thou designs.
What's your personal favourite design from your new range?
Absolutely difficult! Some designs go straight to my heart and I’m addicted. But if I were forced to choose then it would narrow down to some 5 - 7 pieces from over 1,000 designs that I have. (CN 25, CN 50, CN 82, CN 107, CN 109, CR 20). And in acrylic it would be the Lingam Coasters/ Pink oval Indie jaali place mat.
The average Indian lady has leanings toward gold jewellery, although silver seems to be picking up pace. How would you describe your target customer?
Yes. Indians are in love with the precious yellow metal. But today’s woman is insatiable! She has more tantrums than ever before and she needs more choices. Silver works as an easy and affordable alternative. My client is dauntless, stylish, mindful with all the usual cheeky traits. She is a woman who knows her mind and still gets confused after seeing the amount of choices Coyote Silver offers in terms of design. In short she could be any woman who loves to love herself.
What's the inspiration for your jewellery range, and what is it themed around?
Themes could be very Indian, global or anything generic. Inspiration is omnipresent! One has all senses sound and alive...it’s hard to miss life and things around.
Coyote Silver retails from Bombay Electric, Zoya, Attic, Sacha's Shop, Nidus, and Bliss.
